Kristin Fisher joined CNN on 20 July 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she's reported on space policy during the Biden and Trump administrations on FOX News. Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings and the 2020 presidential election and efforts by two administrations to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip.
